Sunday, January 30th is the birthday of the writer A. H. Tammsaare, which is becoming a world day of joint reading of Estonian literature. Last year “Old Mother Kunks” by Aino Pervik was read, and this year the Estonian Institute and the Center for Children’s Literature offer a reading of “Three Jolly Fellows” by Eno Raud. “Three Jolly Fellows” has been translated into fifteen languages, including Hungarian and English.
