On 7 April, the Embassy hosted a regional meeting of the Estonian Honorary Consuls.
Arvo Anton, Director of the Bureau for Economic Diplomacy and Honorary Consular Affairs at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave a comprehensive overview of Estonia’s economic developments in Estonia and business diplomacy goals. Margus Särglepp, Director of the Consular Assistance Office of the Consular Department, provided updates on recent consular affairs in Estonia and the European Union.
The Honorary Consuls shared their current activities and plans for the future. The meeting was attended by Estonian Honorary Consuls András Bereczki (Hungary), Tomislav Čelebić (Montenegro), Amila Lagumdžija (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Saško Miladinov (North Macedonia) and Petar Rakočević (Serbia).
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Estonia and North Macedonia, Saško Miladinov received a letter of appreciation from the Estonian Minister of Foreign Affair, along with a silver badge.
